In line with INTA’s global mission to support trademarks in order to protect consumers and to promote fair and effective commerce, the Parallel Import Committee develops and advocates the Association’s policy regarding the balanced protection against parallel imports. For this purpose the committee monitors and evaluates developments in treaties, cases, legislation and regulation in various jurisdictions and proposes policy recommendations to the Board. Work includes report and submission writing, and advocacy in conjunction with relevant INTA committees and staff.
Stela Sabeva is a Co-Head of the IP Department at BOYANOV & Co. and is responsible for trademark related matters. She has more than 10 years of experience in providing legal services to domestic and international clients with regard to the protection of their intellectual property rights in Bulgaria. Stela’s work is focused predominantly on IP litigation and enforcement, unfair competition and copyright protection.
