Mezzanine Financing

A half-day seminar on mezzanine financing was held at the offices of Boyanov & Co. on 16 October 2013.

CFOs and legal counsels of banks, financial consultants, management funds and the business received valuable insights from speakers from the leading mezzanine financier in the region (Mezzanine Management based in Vienna) and from a finance partner from the Vienna office of a large international law firm.

Specific features and benefits of mezzanine financing in the region and in Bulgaria, legal documentation and legal issues of mezzanine financing were among the topics discussed.

Bulgaria Mezzanine Capital I also presented the new EUR 60 million mezzanine fund, co-funded by the JEREMIE programme of the European Investment Fund and dedicated specifically to providing mezzanine financing to small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria.
