In the aftermath of the successful Balkan Legal Forum, held in November 2000 in Sofia, the lawyers from Borislav Boyanov & Co. have lent their support and active efforts towards the creation of The British Balkan Centres for English and Global Legal Studies. The idea was born in discussions between George Dobry CBE, QC and the Managing Partner of the Firm – Borislav T. Boyanov as a forum of undergraduate and graduate studies tailored to the needs of judges, lawyers and other legal practitioners from the region. The first lectures and courses are expected to start in the autumn of 2001. His Hon. George Dobry and Mr. Boyanov are the founders and the first directors of the British Balkan Centres.
