Trends in Competition Law – Effect on Business

On March 16, 2011 Borislav Boyanov & Co. and the Commission for the Protection of Competition co-organized a seminar for business on recent trends in Bulgarian and European competition law.

The seminar focused on the new Bulgarian and EU block exemption regulations in the fields of vertical agreements, technology transfer and R&D, and horizontal agreements, on recent global trends in cartel enforcement and the new leniency policy in Bulgaria, as well on some unfair competition issues, such as illegal supplements and misleading and comparative advertising.

The seminar was attended by more than 150 representatives of business, regulators and lawyers, and included speakers from the Commission for the Protection of Competition, Borislav Boyanov & Co., as well as from leading international law firms Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

New Electronic Communications Policy

Changes to the Regime of Additional Goods and Services Granted as a Rebate
